Photo Theater Lite App Reviews

You cannot actually use it unless you BUY the entire thing. It isnt a "lite", it is a trial and probably should have mentioned that when done with a video, you will have A GIANT BANNER across the entire of the video, the whole time, saying "Evaluation Copy". It isnt even worth it. All that work down the drain. If you are going to do it, at least mention it! I use lite because I cannot even afford the pro. Thanks a lot, that was a massive waste of time.

sometimes it loads, and sometimes looks blank. I would like to purchase full version, but so unreliable.

Load 180 photos the app will crash !!! Waste of time ….

There’s no help file and I can’t figure out how to get to photos outside the handful of folders they think all my folders should be in. I deleted it off my system. I don’t have time to monkey around with an application that isn’t intuitive and has no help file.

Photo Theater has much better and easier to use customizing tools, except for the constant crashing and freezing. After completing my project, I tried to burn it to disk, which took two hours, before my computer froze and warned me to quit the application. I have 1TB HDD, and 16GB RAM. Tried using iFunia Photo Slide Show with neatly 1000 slides, seems to run very smoothly, but wasn’t able to finish my task. The worst thing I found was the special effects have to be added picture by picture, very tedious, and adding/editing captions is a mysterious art. Once you enter a caption, you can’t move it. If you change the font or text size, good luck.

I saw a lot of one star reviews telling that this app doesn’t work, but actually it is the only one from appstore that could complete the simple task - add one image to audio file and make video. It works, and it is simple to use. Don’t be lazy. I’m only missing batch creating videos. And extremely large EVALUATION COPY banner.

They allow you to make your slideshow but you have to buy the full version inorder to view your video without their watermark across the front.

I like this app and all I really enjoy making videos and editing, but the question I have is How Do you share the video??????

This is a really piss poor program. The light version is hard to use and it is exteremely limited with its capabilities. There is no way to adjust your photos in the project timeline. Once the photos are in the project timeline, they cannot be changed, or rearranged. The transitions are a joke and cannot be easily manipulated, or adjusted. It has a music selection, but is totally useless and does not work at all. What the hell were they thinking when the released this program. Its a joke, and a really bad one at that. Dont waste time with it, dont install or use it. Its not worth the frustration, or the waste of your valuable time...
