created a video and was so excited to see the result, then a message appeared. “purchase the full version, otherwise the video will have a watermark.” don’t waste your time using this, probably one of the worst video editing and creating programs I’ve ever seen!

The requirements are 10.6 or later. Well, I’m running 10.6.8 and it does not work properly. You can only save video within the application, video will not work any where else! I thought I would try the free version before spending the money for the Pro version. I’m glad I did because the listed requirements are wrong.

Poor software. When you render the video, the final product has a huge water mark on it that makes the video unpresentable. NOT IMPRESSED!

This product works well and is a simple edit soft were to use.

I would not bother getting the lite version. After spending hours working on a show and getting it perfect when I turned it into a movie right in the middle of every picture are the words LITE Version. Very annoying and frustrating I wish I had known that before I spent all those hours.

It is crap.

Free version is not usable at all!! Would never buy a product from a company who pulls this kind of dishonest bait & switch techniques. Will never buy any apps from this company again.

It makes good movies with a big logotype at the middle :/ so its completly unusefull. I spend all day to have nothing afther rendering.

Although I do like the transitions and special effects, you can add titles, multiple music tracks….Thats all great, however the problems that come make the app not worth it. Crashed several times without warning. Can not add video…although it says you are supposed to be able to. I worked through all of these problems and finalized a show only to find out that a giant Photo Theater Lite Banner sits in the middle of the slide show for the entire duration. So frustrating, and such a waste of time.

This is a terrible App. Im not able to add any video to it even though it claims that just about any type of video, audio, and music formats are supposed to be compatible with it. It also crashes while im trying to add video to it. Lucky it was free. Very disappointing!! Im using a new MacBook Pro running Mountain Lion 10.8. but that couldnt be the issue since the apps info states that it is fully compatible with Mountain lion. Dont waste your time installing this app.

And I thought I could work almost any program. Not this one. Documentation is minimal at best. Totally uncooperative program. Tried to adjust transitions, add video, add music, crash crash, chash. Force closed. Error message. Must be something out there better than this. Goodbye Photo Theater.

Fix the crashing or you are bye bye. I realize you are a free app so I hope you understand this was YOUR FREE opportunity to show us the skills and quality of your company. So far, you failed. Whomever is reading, we need to change some attitudes. WE get apps free to try. Whether we buy paid versions or not we are installing them on our computers and we have no history of app developer companies as far as trustworthyness, such as estabiished software companies. We dont even know what they do with information they get from us. So I just need to say that we are not to accept the revewers and companies that say, "Hey, its free, what more do you want?" Well….I want honesty and integrity by app developers. Just because they are in iTunes doesnt guarantee anything. So dont give people who are ciritisizing apps a hard time for giving you FREE reviews. YOu would be paying for experts to give you the value of your products if it werent for reviewers. This is not necessarily a problem with this company but its an unsettling trend I hope will not grow. There are less free apps out there now and I hope the developers know that, we arent willing to pay for apps by nonestablished great software developers who are reputable. We also dont see websites that amount to much by these developers. So apps are popular, yes, but you shoot your own foot by ignoring the reviews. Why you go through the trouble of creating an app, tossing it to the public and then ignoring the quality of your work is beyond me. But then again, Ive seen people go out of their way to buy a lotto ticket.

I could see placing a watermark on a portion of a corner of the video, but the way the banner is centered on my video just ruins it. I was lucky not to have spent lots of time making a first video, as it would have been mostly a waste of time. Id rate it higher if it wasnt for the overlay on the saved video. Id call this a Demo program rather than just a Lite version.

How do you get that Lite Version Banner off of the video that you have just created.

When you export your video there is a copyrighted banner for Photo Lite left on your screen which stays on the whole movie.

It has more better transitions than iMovie however, if u make a mistake or place a video in your project before a selection you already had the sound completely messes up. All if u delete a tradition then the sound will mess up. Howeve if u want to make a sildeshow and add music in late this will be perfect for you. I tried doing a video project but the sound bugs were to try to deal with. Im debating wether I should keep the app or delete it.

I dont want your logo on my familys video. You shouldnt do that when you finalize the video

AFTER SPENDING FOUR HOURS DOING A VIDEO.. YOUR LOGO APPEARS IN MY FACE! WTH ! ARE YOU SERIOUS! ITS LIKE EITHER WAYS WE HAVE TO BUY THE PRO, NOT FAIR! I wasted my time … ! you shouldnt do that..! please fix it soon!

After hard work of putting together pictures for a nice video, its really a major setback the fact that you put the logo right IN THE MIDDLE of the video. It is unconvenient and terribly annoying. All that work for nothing, great.
